Vestry
It shall be the duty of the Vestry to work with the Rector in establishing a climate of mutual trust and honesty within which the Parish can be provided with effective leadership. They are to convey the concerns of the Parish to the Rector on a regular basis and in a direct and supportive manner. They shall similarly communicate the concerns of the Rector to the Parish.
At Grace there are twelve members of the Vestry. Four people are elected each year to fulfill a three year term. The vestry election takes place at the Annual Meeting in January.
Traditionally, the Sr. Warden is the "Rector's Warden," and the Jr. Warden is the "People's Warden." The Wardens, Clerk and one member of the Vestry-at-large compose the Executive Committee of Grace Church Sandusky.
